Charlie C. Davis

Charlie C. Davis, 85, of Stephenville, died Thursday, May 17, 2012 in Stephenville. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, May 19th at Grove Hill Cemetery in Dallas. Visitation will be held at 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Charlie was born on December 2, 1926 in Yarnaby, Oklahoma to the late Ray and Zada McFarlin Davis. He was a WWII Army Veteran, 32nd degree Mason, and a member of the Church of Christ. Charlie lived many years in Seagoville, prior to moving to Stephenville in 2000. He was a truck driver. Survivors include his wife, Sandra McInroe Davis; sons, Clinton of Rattan, OK and David of Dallas; daughter, Sharon Kay and husband Donald Ray Kinder of Finley, OK; step-children, Christine and husband Jerry Emmons of Granbury, Steve Carr of Arlington, Renee Simpson of Arlington, and Sam and wife Gale Keys of Burleson; fourteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Charlie was preceded in death by his first wife, Frances; a grandson, four brothers, and four sisters.
