Charles Arthur Woolsey, 68, of Stephenville passed on March 7, 2019. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2019, at 2:00 PM at the Sardis Cemetery in Comanche with Trey McDuff officiating. The family will receive visitors from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at Stephenville Funeral Home.
Charles was born on October 16, 1950 in Comanche, Texas to the late Albert Daniel Loyd and Alma Woolsey. He married Janie Sanchez in 1981 in Hamilton. Charles was an honored Army Veteran, worked in construction, and was a long-time resident of Stephenville.
Charles is survived by his wife, Janie Woolsey, of Stephenville; children, Shane and April Woolsey of Breckenridge, Christopher and Brianna Woolsey of New Braunfels, and Angela Boone of Stephenville; brothers, Loyd Woolsey and his wife Eller of Carlton, and Carl Woolsey of Comanche; grandkids, Brashana Stallings and Gabriel, Tyler Woolsey, Mason Woolsey, Destiny Boone, Scarlett Boone, and Matthew Woolsey; and great grandchild, Kashtyn Stallings.
Charles was preceded in death by parents, Albert and Alma Woolsey; a sister, Marie Woolsey; and three brothers, Edwin, Kenneth, and Jerry Wayne Woolsey.
