Celeste Martin

Celeste Martin, 54, of Stephenville died Tuesday, February 01, 2011 in Stephenville. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, February 5, 2011 at Stephenville Funeral Home with Rev. Ellis John Villarreal officiating. Celeste ‘MeeMaw' Martin was born on June 17, 1956 in Stanton, Texas to the late John and Carolyn Winningkess Martin. She married Jessie Martin on March 22, 1973 in Big Spring. Celeste was a member of Cornerstone First Assembly Church, and she and Jessie owned and operated A Time To Bead. Through her business Celeste and Jessie established cancer funding for individuals dealing with cancer. She lived in Brownwood several years before moving to Stephenville 28 years ago. Survivors include her husband, Jessie; four sons, Aaron Martin of Stephenville, Cody and wife Jennifer Martin of Stephenville, Brian and wife Meagan Martin of Stephenville, and Daniel Martin of Sunrise Village, TX; sister, Debra Douglas of Brownwood; brothers, Keith Martin and Terrell Martin both of Brownwood; grandchildren, Jayce, Aston, Christian, and Gatlin Martin; niece, Shandra Douglas; and many beloved family members and friends Family wishes expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to FOCUS, c/o Stephenville Medical and Surgical Clinic, 150 River North Blvd. Stephenville, Texas 76401
