Cecil Rondal Hope

Cecil Rondal Hope, 88, of Wheatland, Texas, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2011 in Granbury. Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, March 28, 2011 at Pony Creek Cemetery in Erath County. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Sunday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Cecil was born on October 21, 1922 in San Angelo to the late William and Clara Green Luther. She married Roy Lee ‘Red' Hope on June 30, 1943 in Brownwood and he preceded her in death on June 2, 1994. Cecil had resided in Wheatland for many years and worked at MCM Manufacturing for 20 years until her retirement. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and was a longtime member of the Wheatland Baptist Church. Cecil is survived by a son, Bobby Hope of Granbury; sisters, Willie Louise Fenton of Bangs, and Mildred Opal Abbott of San Angelo; thirteen grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Patricia Ford, and Lindia Evans; and a brother, William Gobel Luther, JR.
