Carter Starnes

Carter Starnes, 70, of Stephenville, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2008 in Fort Worth. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Monday March 17, 2008 at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel. Carter was born on August 1, 1937 in Stephenville to the late Herman and Velma Carter Starnes. He served in the U.S. Navy and has resided in Erath County most of his life. Carter was a Truck Driver until his retirement in 1999. He was a Baptist. Survived by his son, Rundall Starnes of Stephenville; sisters, Betty Birdsong of Stephenville and Terrell Brown of Weatherford; He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by and infant son, Teaman in 1961.
