Carson Herd Loving

Carson Herd Loving, 87, of Lingleville, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2022 in Stephenville.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at the Lingleville West End Cemetery in Lingleville. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Carson, was born on January 1, 1935 in Seymour, Texas to the late J.W. and Elouise Fair Loving. He married the love of his life, Sandra Henslee on March 31, 1956 in Lingleville and together they raised two children. Carson served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Army. He was a graduate of Texas Tech University and a 32nd degree Mason. Carson owned and operated Pecan Grove Dairy Farm until his retirement. He was a member of the Oakdale United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Sandra Loving of Lingleville; children, Jeri Kaye Loving of Granbury, and Mark Loving and wife Leila of Lingleville; grandchildren, Brittany Knowles and husband Joe, Claire Oldengarm and husband James, Colton Loving, and Kendall Loving and wife Chloe; great-grandchildren, Brianna, Savanna, Leena, Danny, Cayson, Alice, Hunter, and Teddy; and one great-great grandchild, Lily.

He was preceded in death by his parents, J.W. and Elouise Loving; and sisters, Codie Ray, and Sue WIlliamson
