Carrol Wayne Mooney

Carrol Wayne Mooney, 72, of Stephenville, died Saturday, December 19, 2009 in Burleson. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 23rd at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Roy Gee and Leon Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Hannibal Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday at Stephenville Funeral Home Carrol was born June 22, 1937 in Stephenville to the late William Aubrey and Laura Opal Anderson Mooney. He was married to Joyce Carol Hook in Stephenville, and later married Mary Alice Vehon on March 6, 1970 in Stephenville. Mary preceded him in death June 6, 2005. Carrol was a member of the Methodist Church, and was a U. S. Army veteran. He lived ten years of his life in Gatesville, but spent most of his life in Stephenville and Dublin. Carrol was a painter and home builder. Survivors include his daughters, Tana and husband Kenny Howell of Burleson, and Vicki and husband Robert Branch of Paradise; son, Robby and wife Debbie Mooney of Wimberly; step-children, Cindy and husband Stan Kaluzniak of Keller, and Roy Lyn Garrison and his companion Gayla Lewis of Stephenville; twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Family wishes expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to Trinity Mission Hospice; Meals on Wheels, or to the Hannibal Cemetery.
