Carolyn (Ross) Munday

Stephenville Carolyn (Ross) Munday, of Stephenville passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2011 in Stephenville. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, February 5, 2011 at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glenn Shock officiating. Interment will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm Friday at the funeral home. Carolyn was born on February 1, 1936 in Comanche County, Texas to the late Ivan Newton and Florence Myrl Hodges Ross. She married Robert Munday in 1986, in Dublin and he preceded her in death on May 24, 1990. Carolyn has resided in Stephenville the past 9 years moving here from Dublin. She worked as a nurse's aid for many years. Carolyn is survived by a son, Buran Henry and his wife Rebecca of Stephenville; three daughters, Brenda Henry Treadwell and husband Bobby of Santo; Barbara Henry Secrest Crow and husband David of Brownwood; Belinda Henry Echeverria and husband Tony of Stephenville; two brothers, Harold Ross and wife Maurine of Kaufman; W.C. (Red) Ross and wife Ann of Big Springs; grandchildren, Randy Treadwell of Santo; Nathon Secrest of Stephenville and Jennifer Secrest of Stephenville, and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Don Ross and Benny Ross, and one granddaughter, Becky Treadwell.
