It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Carol Lynn Caibaiosai, who passed away on January 12, 2025, at her home in Stephenville, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 27, 1961, in Blind River, Ontario, Canada, to Vincent and Clara Caibaiosai, as part of the Ojibwe tribe. After finishing high school, she married Silvestre Landeros Ramirez and raised a family with him in the Erath County area. She was a hard worker and dedicated many years to her career at Emerson. She and her family attended St. Brendan’s and St. Mary’s Catholic churches.
Carol lived her life with unwavering faith in the Lord, trusting that He would welcome her with open arms when her time came. A sweet soul with a heart worn proudly on her sleeve, she gave her all to the people she loved. Her gentle spirit, matched by her strength, uplifted others in their darkest times, offered solace in their losses, and rejoiced with them in their victories. She was the embodiment of kindness and selflessness, showering unconditional love on her husband and children while holding an extra-special place in her heart for her grandchildren.
Carol inspired everyone around her to grow, love, and strive to be their best selves, leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth, and selfless devotion.
Carol is survived by her husband, Silvestre; her daughters, Jennifer (Issam) and Julietta (Jeremy); her sons, Bill (Alicia) and Luke (Heather); her grandchildren, Jaden and Yanis; her sister, Sandra (Andres); her brother, Robert (Tammy); her sister-in-law, Cathy Caibaiosai; her nieces, Jessica, Jasmine, Rebecca (late Jeremiah), Abba, Ava, Ashlynn, Silver (Justin), Cheyenne, Maryann, MaryLou, Taylor, Cameron, Melissa, Alexa, Laila, Lisa, Lakota, Brooklyn, Aubrey, Kallie, Frankie, Kelly, Sherry, Carrie (Jeremy), Natasha (Eric), Hailey, and Ava; and her nephews, Jose (Suzanne), Marcos, Jasmine, Richard, EJ, Dwayne (Cora), Bill (Michelle), Marc, Chris (Alyssa), Hunter, Lennex, Damien, Brayden, Quintin, William, Vincent, Rusty, and Richard.
Carol is preceded in death by her father, Vincent; her mother, Clara; her brothers, Eugene, Ronald, and Roger; her sister, Julie; her niece, Louise; and her nephews, Ronald, Donald, Darwin, and Sly.
A funeral service will be held in Carol’s honor on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at 2 PM at Stephenville Funeral Home, with a graveside service to follow at West End Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, from 6 PM to 8 PM, also at Stephenville Funeral Home.
