Carlton Claud Hallmark February 4, 1931 ~ February 8, 2017 Carlton Claud Hallmark, 86, of Stephenville, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2017 in Big Spring, Texas. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 13, 2017 at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Saturday, February 11, 2017 at the funeral home. Interment will take place at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at DFW National Cemetery. Carlton was born on February 4, 1931 to Porter Hallmark and Lucille Key Hallmark in the School Hill community. He married Doris Jean Anderson on May 18, 1957 in Stephenville and she recently preceded him in death on January 11, 2017. Carlton served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He went to work for Bell Helicopter in 1965 until his retirement in 1987. Carlton was a member of the Cross Timbers Church of Christ in Stephenville. Survivors include his daughter, Cindy Hayes and husband Roy of Stephenville; grandchildren, Kristen and Cameron Hayes of Stephenville; brother, Joe Cole of Granbury, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Porter and Lucille Key Hallmark; his wife, Doris Jean Anderson Hallmark; brothers, J.D. Hallmark, and Bob Hallmark; and his sister, Celia Hatley.
