Caridad Olivera Sept. 8, 1923-October 27, 2015 Caridad Olivera, 92, of Stephenville, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2015 in Stephenville. Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM Friday, October 30, 2015 at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Aida Eumana officiating. Burial will follow at East Memorial Cemetery in Stephenville. Visitation: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday at the Stephenville Funeral Home. Caridad was born on September 8, 1923 in Santa Clara, Cuba to the late Geronimo and Pastora Olivera. She met and married the love of her life, Juan Cobas in Cuba and he preceded her in death. She has resided in Stephenville for over 25 years after previously living in Miami. She was a member of Templo Emmanuel Assembly of God Church in Stephenville. Caridad was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her sons, Carmelo Cobas Sr. of Stephenville, Domingo Cobas of Miami; brothers, Rafael Olivera of Cuba, Ricardo Olivera of Miami, and Francisco Olivera of Miami; sister, Ofelia Olivera of Miami; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Juan Cobas; and a daughter, Pastora Morales.
