Calvin "Eddie" Johnson, Jr. January 3, 1938 - February 4, 2018 Calvin "Eddie" Johnson, Jr., 80, of Bridgeport, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018 in Lingleville. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday, February 8, 2018 at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel. Calvin was born on January 3, 1938 in Ft. Worth to the late Calvin and Ruby Cox Johnson. He was a graduate of Krum High School and served in the U.S. Army. Calvin married Marilyn Givens Yeatts in 1997 and together they resided in Bridgeport, Texas. He also previously resided in Ft. Worth, Lingleville, and Krum. Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Johnson of Bridgeport; daughter, Janet Howle and husband Johnny of Lingleville; son, Eddie Ray Johnson of Lingleville; grandsons, Tyler Howle and wife Emily of Lingleville and Justin Howle and wife Amanda of Iola; great-grandchildren, Madison Howle, Conner Howle and a baby boy due in March; sister, Ann Staude of Stephenville; step-children, Sherri Jones and husband Kevin, Mark Yeatts and wife Lorie, Amy Warren and husband John, son in law Charlie Pike; and several nieces, nephews, and a host of loving friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Gifford Johnson and step daughter Marianne Pike. Memorials may be made to the Foster's Home for Children P.O.
