Callie Mills

Callie Mills, 79, of Stephenville, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2012 in Dublin. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, May 7, 2012 at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Harry Brown and Kenneth Mills officiating. Interment will follow at the Johnsville Cemetery in Erath County. Callie was born on September 6, 1932 in Hico, Texas to the late Asa and Lavada Loyd Bullard. She married Garland (Dick) Mills on July 7, 1951 in Lampasas, Texas and he preceded her in death on February 11, 2007. Callie is a lifelong resident of Erath County and was a member of the Johnsville Church of Christ. She was a waitress in the Stephenville community for many years working at Peacock's before her retirement. Survivors include daughters, Tracy Crofutt and husband Carey of Lingleville, and Trudy Buntin of Stephenville; grandchildren, Curry Hooks, Kody Crofutt and wife Jessica, Jacey Crofutt, and Victor Mills and wife Lajuana; great-granddaughter's, Joslyn Hooks and Tawni Mills; great-grandson, Brian Hooks; sisters, Marie Mills and Christine Valdez; brothers, Gayland Bullard; and Bobby Joe Bullard. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Doris Ray Bullard, Justin Ed Bullard, and Redmond Wesley Bullard. Memorials may be made to the Foster's Home for Children.
