Caleb Graves

October 27, 1988 — September 8, 2024

Bobby Caleb Graves was born in Fort Worth, Texas on October 27,1988 to parents Mary
Kay and Brad Graves. Caleb grew up in Stephenville, Texas, where he later graduated as the
valedictorian of the Stephenville High School Class of 2007 and would later be inducted into the
academic hall of fame in 2014. Caleb went on to study at the University of Texas in Austin and
graduated in 2011 with many honors and accolades. Upon graduating, Caleb began teaching at
Park Dale High School near Washington, D.C. as a part of the Teach For America program. After
completing the prestigious education program, Caleb dived into a budding political and legal
career, beginning with his studies at Georgetown University Law School, where he graduated
with his Juris Doctor in 2017. As a part of his legal studies, Caleb had many opportunities to
serve at the United States Department of Justice and work as both a fellow and a clerk for the
likes of Wendy Davis and Amy Klobuchar. Following his graduation from Georgetown, Caleb
clerked for the Honorable Xavier Rodriguez in the Western District of Texas United States
District Court.
In 2021, Caleb moved from Washington D.C. to Los Angeles, California, where he
worked as a litigation associate for Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich, & Rosati in their Century City
office. Caleb specialized in entertainment, intellectual property, and commercial litigation. Even
in his professional litigation career, Caleb found time to pursue his passion for writing and film
making. In July of this year, Caleb published his debut poetry book, ‘love, and other love’, and
readers are raving about it! Caleb was an avid traveler and loved all things Disney. He was also a
very big sports fan, especially the Texas Longhorns and Los Angeles Lakers! Caleb loved to run,
and competed in many half marathons and whole marathons, yet he still enjoyed eating donuts.
He resided in Garden Grove, California, which allowed him to spend as much time in Disney
Land as possible.

Preceding Caleb in death is his grandmother, Shirley Ratliff, and his grandfather Dion
Graves, grandmother Mary Hyman, and his father, Brad Graves. Caleb is survived by his
