Buford Nelson Edwards, 89, of Fort Worth, passed away Sunday, September 13,2020.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, September 18, 2020 at the West End Cemetery in Stephenville with Gary Williams officiating. The family will gather at 10:30 Friday before the service at Stephenville Funeral Home.
Buford was born on October 6, 1930 in Richland Springs, San Saba County to the late Frank and Mae Derrick Edwards. He married Rosa Garrett in September of 1954 in Stephenville and together they raised 3 sons. He served in the U.S. Army and worked for LTV as an Engineer before his retirement.
Survivors include his wife, Rosa Garrett Edwards of Fort Worth; son, Bruce Edwards of Fort Worth; grandson, Omar Orpinel of Fort Worth; granddaughter, Paola Lopez of Fort Worth; daughter-in-law, Margarita Edwards of Fort Worth; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mae Edwards; sons, Charles Edwards, and David Edwards; and brothers, Dale Edwards, Eugene Edwards and Glenn Edwards.
