Bryan ‘Hootie' Robbins, 57, of Stephenville, passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2018 in Stephenville.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, October 5th at the Cowboy Church of Erath County with Werth Mayes officiating. Burial will follow at Johnson Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday at Stephenville Funeral Home.

Bryan was born on June 8, 1961 in Clinton, Tennessee to Larry ‘Pappy' Robbins and Mary Lou Disney Robbins. He graduated from Dayton High School in Dayton, Texas, class of 1979. Bryan married Wendy Graves on December 10, 1983 in Liberty, Texas. Spending most of his life in Dayton, Bryan and his family moved to Stephenville in 2006, where he thoroughly enjoyed raising show cattle, fishing, and team roping. He was very proud of his whitetail deer management program he developed on his ranch in Talpa, Texas. In 2012, the first of three grandchildren were born and changed his whole world-Holt, Aylee and Kanon were the light of his eye. Aside from his family, he would include in his greatest accomplishments as being involved in the success of his thriving company, Tri Con Works, and producing the Grand and Reserve Champion Steer at the San Antonio Livestock Exposition in 2017. He was a member of several organizations including Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Assn., American Cattle Raisers Assn., the FLW, BASS and AQHA.

Bryan is survived by his wife, Wendy; children, Andi Sims and husband Luke, Kati Robbins and fiancé Tanner Slagle, Kehl Robbins and wife Lauren, and Maddi Robbins, all of Stephenville; grandchildren, Holt and Aylee Sims, and Kanon Robbins; parents, Larry ‘Pappy' Robbins and wife Brenda of Dayton, TX, and Mary Lou Robbins of Tennessee; sister, Stephanie Robbins of Dayton, TX; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a multitude of family and friends. Bryan was preceded in death by a brother, David Robbins.
