Bruce Reeves

Bruce Reeves, 75, of Stephenville died Monday, August 30, 2010 at a local nursing home. Memorial Service will be at 11:00 AM Friday, September 3, 2010 at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Joe Howard Williamson officiating. Visitation will be after the service at the Stephenville Funeral Home Family Center. Bruce was born on September 24, 1934 in Nogales, AZ., to the late Quincy and Faye Beck Reeves. He married Joyce Helland on December 19, 1959 in Billings, Montana. Bruce was a resident of Stephenville for the past 30 years. He was a member of the Elk Lodge in Childress, Tx, for over 50 years, and he was one of the founding members of the ACHA. Bruce served in the US Army from 1956 to 1959. He was a rancher and a horse trainer. Survivors include his wife, Joyce; two sons, Quincy Reeves, Tony Reeves and wife Kim; daughter, Vicky Shelton and husband Tommy all of Stephenville; brothers Tom Reeves and wife Jan; and Ray Hatch and wife Valorie; grandchildren, Ashley Reeves and Bruce Shelton.
