Bruce Fagan, 98, of Fort Worth, a long time resident of Stephenville, died Thursday, May 21, 2009, in Fort Worth. Funeral Services will be held at 9:00 AM, Saturday, May 23, 2009 at Bridgewood Church of Christ in Fort Worth. Visitation will be held 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel, 7301 E. Lancaster Ave., Fort Worth A visitation for Bruce will be held at 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday evening, May 23rd at Stephenville Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, May 24th at West End Cemetery, under direction of Stephenville Funeral Home. Bruce was born September 22, 1910, in Stephenville to the late Richard and Minnie Lee Hancock Fagan. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Shriner and Scottish Rite. Bruce was office manager for the Erath County Electric Cooperative for many years, and while he lived in Stephenville was a member of the Graham Street Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Vera Fagan; son, Richard Fagan and wife Donna; stepson, Ron Findley and wife Donna; grandchildren, David Bruce Fagan, Rebecca Lyn Fagan, Scott Brian Fagan, and Christopher Morris Fagan; step grandchildren, Erin Findley, Brian Findley, and Caitlin Findley; brother, Joe Gail Fagan and wife Lura; and nieces and nephews, Peter Fagan, Paul Fagan, and Patrice Morgan. Bruce was preceded in death by two wives, Marion McIlroy Fagan and Gladys Bibb Fagan. Family wish expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to the American Heart Assn.
