Brenda Kaye Rawls, aged 66, passed away entirely too soon in Stephenville, Texas, on
the morning of March 8, 2025. Brenda was born on February 1, 1959, in Indiana. She
spent her formative years in Indiana, raised by her loving parents, Richard and Joyce
Donley.
After completing high school, Brenda embarked on a career as a truck driver, a
profession that allowed her to explore the vast landscapes of the United States. Her
journeys across the country were filled with adventures and memories that she
cherished deeply.
Over 25 years ago, Brenda decided to settle down in Stephenville, Texas, where she
became a beloved member of the community. Known for her crafty nature, she
dedicated much of her time to sewing, crocheting, and needlepoint. Brenda's hands
created countless doilies, blankets, and even adorable stuffed animals that delighted
many.
In her leisure moments, Brenda enjoyed watching Netflix and spending time with her
precious dog, Byla, affectionately called Byla Bonita Princessa. Brenda's warmth and
vivacity made her a cherished friend to many, and her caring nature will be deeply
missed by all who knew her.
Brenda is survived by her daughter, Tiffeny Bowles, and her son, Travis Bowles. She
also leaves behind two beloved granddaughters, Hannah Bowles and Alexia Bowles,
and her cherished sister, Karen Hunt. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents,
Richard and Joyce Donley.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her, and
her legacy of love, kindness, and creativity will continue to inspire all who were touched
by her presence.
