Bobby Conatser June 5, 1939 ~ May 11, 2016 Bobby Conatser, 76 of Lingleville, died Wednesday, May 11, 2016 in Stephenville. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, May 15th at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Gary Williams officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Saturday, at the funeral home. Bobby was born on June 5, 1939 in Erath County, to the late John and Mable Hickey Conatser. He married Jo Rita Griggs on November 28, 1964 in Stephenville. Jo Rita preceded him in death on December 17, 2011. Bobby worked several years in the oil field with Amoco Oil, and many years as a custodian with the Stephenville and Lingleville ISDs. He served in the National Guard, a member of the Baptist faith, and lived most of his life in Erath County. Survivors include his son, David and wife Patty Conatser of Stephenville; daughter, Twylla Dumas of Stephenville; grandchildren, Ashleigh Dumas, Mandy and husband Joseph Stokes, Shelbie and husband Dustin Estrada, Michael and wife Angela Conatser, Maranda and husband Levi Hutchison, Dalton Dumas and Marcus Conatser; great grandchildren, Jett, Rex, Lane, Hayden, Luke, Michael, Levi, Mackenzie, Matthew, and Leah; brother, Jimmy Conatser of Jacksboro; sisters, Mary Jo Sheppard of Mansfield, and Ruth Roberson of Hobbs, New Mexico; and several nieces and nephews Besides his parents and wife, Bobby was also preceded in death by 5 brothers, Marvin, Otis, Ray, Kay, and Jack Conatser. The Conatser family wishes expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to the American Diabetes Assn., or the National Kidney Foundation.
