Birtie Lee Vanbebber

Birtie Lee Vanbebber, 82 of Stephenville, died Friday, June 24, 2011 at a local nursing home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 28th at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Bob Baker officiating. Burial will follow at Johnson Cemetery in Erath County. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Birtie was born on December 27, 1928 in Ryan, Oklahoma to the late William and Martha Maness Williams. She married Paul Junior Vanbebber on July 9, 1947 in Montague, Texas. He preceded her in death on February 17, 2010. She was a member of the Assembly of God and had lived in Stephenville the past seven years, moving here from Tatum, New Mexico. Birtie was a homemaker. Survivors include her children; Vera Ann Jeschke, Carrol Gene Singleton, and James Curtis Vanbebber, all of Stephenville; a sister Coy Moore of Hereford; 7 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
