Billye Cook

Billye B. Cook, 84, of Marble Falls, formerly of Stephenville, died Wednesday, September 28, 2011. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel. Billye was born August 25, 1927 in DeLeon to the late Joseph & Bertha Irvin Blitch. She was a retired accountant, having had her education at North Texas State in Denton. She was a past matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 693, DeLeon, and past president and lifetime member of the Humane Society of Erath County. Survivors include her nephew, Michael Blitch; niece, Maribeth Impson; cousin, Hazel Grissom; sister-in-law, Bess Blitch; and several other cousins Besides her parents, Billye was also preceded in death by a sister, Helen Blitch; and brothers, Joseph, Harold Eugene, and James Benjamin Blitch.
