Bill Trammell June 6, 1950--May 7, 2017 Billy Wayne Trammell, 66, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 7, 2017 surrounded by family. Visitation will be held at Stephenville Funeral Home Thursday, May 11, 2017 from 6-7:30 PM. A graveside service will be held at Erath Garden of Memories Chapel, Friday May 12, 2017 at 11 AM. Bill graduated from Stephenville High School in 1968 and later graduated from Tarleton State University in 1976. He taught Ag Education for one year, then managed the Goodyear store in Haskell, TX for the next 15 years. Bill later did remodeling and carpentry work for many years, which was one of his true passions. Bill was an avid outdoorsmen and enjoyed outdoor activities with his sons, Will and Jason. Hunting and fishing created some great memories for them. Weekends were also often spent at the baseball field practicing ball, another love of Bills. Bill is survived by his mother, Mary Trammell; sons, Will Trammell and wife Jordan Trammell of Fort Worth, Jason Trammell and wife Jodi Trammell of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Jaxon, Evynn, Jenna and Grier; sisters, Freddia Trammell Gray and husband Stan Gray of Cleburne, Ann Trammell Ayers and husband Jim Ayers of Hideaway; nieces, Misty Rowland of Salem, OR and Wendy Scott of Webster; and nephews, Tyson Gray of Henderson and Preston Ayers of Baytown. Bill was proceeded in death by his dad, Frederick (Bud) Wayne Trammell. Memorials may be made to the Grace Place Ministries of Stephenville or Meals on Wheels of Erath County.
