Billy Jack Spurlock

Billy Jack Spurlock, 80, of Stephenville passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2008 in Stephenville. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 am Monday at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Stephenville. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Billy was born on September 30, 1927 to the late Samuel and Lorena Belvin Spurlock. He has resided in Stephenville for the last 29 years also lived in Anaco Venezuela. Billy served in the US Air Force during WWII. He was a mechanic and an oil field consultant. He is survived by his sons, Rickey Spurlock; Billy Spurlock, Jr.; Clark Pringle; daughter, Dana Kimble; sisters, Gladyce Rasberry; Vonie Guthrie; brother, Charles Spurlock; Burl Spurlock; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
