Billy Jack Hare

Billy Jack Hare, 84, of Lingleville, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2024.

Graveside services for Billy Jack will be at 3:00 PM Friday, July 19th at Lingleville East End Cemetery, in Lingleville.

He was born on January 24, 1940 to his father, Jack Hare, and his mother, Madalene Hare. He was born in Stephenville, Texas and was raised in the School Hill community. He graduated high school from Lingleville High School. Billy Jack pursued a career in construction, ultimately retiring from Brown and Root Construction company.
Billy Jack was an outdoor enthusiast. He had a passion for raising cattle and race horses. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. His fondest memories were the days he spent on the ranch with his family. When he was not at the ranch, he loved traveling with his wife, Carol Hare.

Billy Jack’s greatest accomplishments were his wife, his children, and his grandchildren. He loved them dearly.

Billy Jack is survived by his son, Billy Juddson Hare, his daughter, Cathy Fuchs, his step-daughter, LaDonna Sooter, and his step-son, Joe Wethington. He is also survived by his eleven grandchildren and his numerous great grandchildren.

Billy Jack is preceded in death by his father, Jack Hare, his mother, Madalene Hare, and his wife, Carol Hare.
