Billie Jean Little, 94, of Odessa and formerly of Stephenville, passed away Friday, July 19, 2019 in Odessa.
Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at the Johnsville Cemetery in Erath County. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Monday at Stephenville Funeral Home
Billie was born on July 10, 1925 in Santo to the late Henry and Ruth Collman Pierce. She married the love of her life, Shirley (Boots) Little on May 22, 1943 in Stephenville and together they had a daughter, Cheryl. He preceded her in death on May 24, 1980. Billie graduated from Tarleton earning her Bachelor's and earned a Master's degree from Sul Ross. She taught for over 40 years at Rankin Elementary and retired from Odessa College teaching the GE program. Billie lived many years in Rankin and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Cheryl Little of Odessa; sister, Patsy Moore of Paradise; and many nephews, nieces, cousins and loving family members.
