Beverly Jeanne (Daniels) Conatser

August 9, 1934 — September 27, 2023

Beverly Jeanne Daniels Conatser was born August 9, 1934 in Routt County, Colorado to Albert and Minnie Daniels. She passed away peacefully while holding her son’s hand at her home in Houston on September 27, 2023. After graduating high school in Oak Creek, Colorado, Beverly attended Gonzaga Finishing School and New Mexico State University.

She held a variety of positions in the mining and oil industries. And she also enjoyed a period of modeling and assignments in the fashion arena.  Beverly loved playing the piano and singing. She played a variety of venues in New Mexico and Texas and wrote, performed and recorded several songs

She met Otis Conatser and they were married in 1964. They were together more than 46 years until his death in 2011.  Once their son Craig was born, Beverly focused on being a wife and mother and volunteering for a variety of causes. After 44 years in Dallas, Beverly moved to Houston to be near her son, Craig. She was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Houston. . Beverly will be remembered for her love of and devotion to her family, her piano and musical talent, and her laughter and sense of humor  Her many antics earned her the nickname “Crazy Aunt Beverly”. Her faith was instrumental in how she lived her life. Beverly was a wonderful, loyal and loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and by her beloved husband, Otis.  She is survived by her son, Craig Conatser; her brother and sister-in-law Dean and Alice Daniels of Grand Junction, Colorado; sister-in-law Peggy Conatser of Jacksboro, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins

The family will receive friends at Stephenville Funeral Home from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Friday, October 6, 2023. A Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 7, 2023 at East End Cemetery in Lingleville, TX.

The family is grateful to the caregivers at Choice Hospice for their endless compassion during Beverly’s final days.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 4144 N Central Expy, Ste 750, Dallas 75204; or to a charity of your choice. .
