Betty J Lowery

Betty Lowery, 80, of Stephenville passed away Tuesday August 14, 2012 in Stephenville. Services will be Thursday at 10:00 AM at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel and Interment will follow at Oakdale Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Betty was born on October 13, 1931 to Jim Mat Pack and Ozella Wesson in Erath County. Betty married Edwin J. Lowery in Eastland Texas. Betty worked as a sales person, upholsterer and was a member of Harvey Baptist Church. Betty was a lifelong resident of Erath County. Betty is survived by her husband Edwin J Lowery of Stephenville, son Mike Bays and wife Glenda, son Pat Bays and wife Sarah, daughter Cindy Morse and husband Don, grandchildren: Becky and Chris Bell, Amy and Robert Bell, Myndie and Tommy Coan, Parker and Liz Bays, Kelly and John Readyhough, Mary Elizabeth Bays, Mackie and Troy Steele; great grandchildren: Amelia, Skylar and Aerial Bell, Taylor, Timber and Tyler Bell, Christopher, Alexander and Emily Bays, Clair and Ben Readyhough, and Lakota and Kylie Coan. Brothers- In-law Clarence Lowery and Charles and wife Joy Lowery. Betty is preceded in death by a granddaughter Valeri Bays and great granddaughters Ashley and Aspen Bell.
