Berta Ruth Stone November 17, 1930 - August 3, 2018 Berta Ruth Stone, 87, of Stephenville, passed away Friday, August 3, 2018 in Stephenville. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, August 6, 2018 at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jerry Nance officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Erath County. Berta was born November 17, 1930, in Stephenville, to the late Leonard and Alva Wood. She married Raymond ‘Till' Stone on March 10, 1950 in Stephenville and together they raised two sons. Berta was a lifelong resident of Stephenville working for many years as a real estate agent. She was a member of the Graham Street Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Raymond ‘Till' Stone of Stephenville; sons, Darrell Stone and wife Remona of Stephenville, and Randy Stone and wife Jobey of Stephenville; grandchildren, Tracy Watkins and wife Joanie of Granbury, Ricky Watkins and wife Courtney of Itasca, Cory Stone of Lewisville, Cami Ferland and husband Lance of Murphy, Shawn Stone and wife Ashley of Hico, and Gunner Stone of Stephenville; she is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
