Bee Bentley Jr.

Bee Bentley, Jr., 86, of Stephenville, died Thursday November 1, 2007, at Mulberry Manor Nursing Home in Stephenville. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Thursday,November 8, 2007 at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial to follow at Mount Olive cemetery in Stephenville. Visitation: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday at the Stephenville Funeral Home. Bee was born September 24, 1921 in Stephenville to the late Bee and Andre Howell Bentley. Bee was a life long resident of Stephenville, a member of the New Bethel CME, and a member of the American Legion. He served in the US Army during WWII. Bee was the Cook at TSU, a volunteer crossing guard at Gilbert Intermediate School. He also was the owner of Bee's Shoe Shine parlor for many years. He is survived by three daughters, Shirley Thomason of Arlington; Judy Turner of Indiana; and Doris Martin of North Carolina; a sister Odell Phillips of Stephenville; a brother, William Bentley of Portland, OR; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
