Beau Alan Weekes

Mingus Beau Alan Weekes, 48, of Mingus, Texas, died Wednesday, April 15, 2009 in Bridgeport. Funeral Service will be held Monday, April 20, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Stephenville First Assembly Church with Pastor Ed Dittfurth officiating. Burial to follow at Hannibal Cemetery in Erath County under the direction of Stephenville Funeral Home. Visitation: 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Sunday at the Stephenville Funeral Home. Beau was born February 14, 1961 in Amarillo, Texas to Bob and Mary Elizabeth Frerking Weekes. He was a member of First Christian Church and resided in Arlington most of his life. He worked several years with Kohler Industries. Beau was a free spirit. He had many friends in many places. He always had a smile on his face and a joke on his lips. He approached life with a burst of energy that endeared him to his family and friends. He made the most of his short life and will be missed by all. Our consolation is that he knew Jesus Christ and now can join his mother and brother in heaven. He is survived by his parents, Bob and Sharon Weekes of Mingus; brother, Christopher Weekes of Mingus; daughter and son, Amanda and Mason Weekes of Burleson; son, Dylan Weekes of Coleman; grandchildren, Kaiden, Koby and Isabella. Beau was preceded in death by his mother Mary Elizabeth and a brother, Dean.
