Barbara Jo Garcia July 13, 1947-December 24, 2015 Barbara Jo Garcia, 68 of Dothan, Alabama, a long time resident of Stephenville, died Thursday, December 24, 2015 at her residence in Dothan, Alabama. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 30th at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Steve Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at West End Cemetery in Stephenville. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Barbara Jo was born on July 13, 1947 in San Antonio, Texas, and lived the early part of her life in Coleman and Stephenville, Texas. She was a 1966 graduate of Abilene Wylie High School. Frank Anthony and Barbara Jo resided in Providence Village, Texas prior to moving to Dothan in 2010. Barbara Jo's hobbies, which she was passionate about, included antique hunting, crocheting, playing the piano, and traveling. She was a retired beautician and cosmetologist. Barbara Jo is survived by her husband, Frank Anthony Garcia of Dothan, AL; her daughter, Teri Lynne and husband Spencer Wilson of Andrews, TX; step-son, Nathan Garcia of Stephenville, TX; step-daughter, Sara Garcia of Austin, TX; grandchildren, Kendra Hinds-Wilson of Andrews, TX, Brittany Wilson of Temple, and Koedy Wilson of Andrews, TX; great-grandchildren, Malachi Piper and Maliyah Piper; father, Leroy ‘Candyman' Griffin of Stephenville, TX; brothers, Ronald Kubicek of Cleburne, TX, Jeffrey and wife Marsha Owens of Stephenville, TX, Robbie and wife Cynthia Owens of Houma, LA. Barbara Jo was preceded in death by her parents, Ludvik Kubicek and Frankie Griffin; and by a brother, Butch Kubicek.
