Barbara J. Collins, July 11, 1947 - September 12, 2009. Loving wife, mother, and nanny went home to be with the Lord on September 12, 2009. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday September 17, 2009 at Valley Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Glenn Shock officiating. Visitation: 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM Wednesday at the Stephenville Funeral Home. Barbara was born in Laurel, MS, to G.E. and Ida Mae Graham Mooney. She married Robert Collins on September 6, 1965 in Biloxi, MS. She was a member of Valley Grove Baptist Church and has resided in Stephenville since 1982. Survivors include her husband, Robert Collins of Stephenville; her mother, Ida Mooney of Stephenville; daughter, Tyna Cowan and husband Rob of Maple Valley, WA; two sons, Jerry Collins and wife Tammie of Stephenville; Mike Collins and wife Amee of Frisco. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Lance and Kobe Cowan; Colton Day; Nicole Osborne; Bradley Collins; Carson and Conner Collins. Barbara also leaves behind a host of close and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her father G.E. Mooney, Jr. and a sister, Georgia Mooney. Memorials may be made to Valley Grove Baptist Church's Building Fund.
