Atalka Ann Russell April 28, 1943 - December 8, 2017 Atalka Ann Russell, 74, of Rockport and formerly of Ft. Worth, passed away Friday, December 08, 2017 in Stephenville. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry Bowman officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Erath County. Visitation will be held Monday, December 11, 2017, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Atalka was born on April 28, 1943 in Mineral Wells to the late Opal Chandler and Clymer C. Evans. She married the love of her life Edwin H. Russell on July 20, 1961 in Stephenville and together they raised three sons. Edwin preceded her in death on April 30, 2006. Atalka was a homemaker and later owned and operated a sunglasses sales business. She was known as a great cook, an avid sports fan, and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Atalka is survived by sons, Bret Russell and wife Rhonda of Bluff Dale, Brian Russell and wife Christy of Flower Mound, and Ben Russell and wife Teri of Ft. Worth; grandchildren, Ashly, Shelby, Tony, Jenna, Makenzie, Zachery, Gwen, and Becca; and a great-grandson, Wyatt
