Anna Lee Berna

Anna Lee Berna, 72, of Stephenville, passed away on Sunday, February 17, 2013 in Fort Worth. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, February 19th at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Don Parker officiating. Burial will follow at Hico Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday at the funeral home. Anna was born on September 6, 1940 in Iredell to the late Cecil Wesley and Essie Mae Horton Luckie. She married Elam Andrew ‘Junior' Berna on June 5, 1959 in Hico. He preceded her in death on April 8, 2004. Anna was a member of the Graham Street Church of Christ, where she was an assistant teacher for the Kindercare pre-school program for many years. Anna was also a bookkeeper for many years, and lived in Erath and Hamilton Counties most of her life. Anna is survived by her son, James Calvin and wife Sylvia Berna of Big Spring; daughters, Penny and husband Ricky Lively of Hico, and Audra Berna of Stephenville; grandson, Andrew and wife Megan Lively of Hamlin; sisters, Maxidene Massey of Burleson and Sue O'Bryant of Stephenville; and brother, Jim Luckie of Lewisville
