Alma Cook

Alma Cook, 82, of Duffau, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 in Stephenville. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, April 13th at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Hannah officiating. Alma was born on January 2, 1932 in Smyrna Maine to the late Raymond and Jenny Chambers Monteith. She married Earl Robert Cook on January 21, 1976 in Glen Rose. They served many years in the missionary field. Earl preceded her in death November 4, 2011. Alma was a homemaker and has lived in Erath County for the last 40 years. Survivors include her children, Cassandra Bishop, Virginia Hewson, Donna Pomeroy, Roxie Cook, Dwight and wife Paula Carter of Stephenville, Annie and husband Darrin Mongold of Stephenville, Roger and wife Tammy Cook of Stephenville, Earl Robert Cook, Jr, John Cook, Billy Cook, Wesley Cook, Carl Cook, Janice Holmes, and Abby Samson; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Alma was also preceded in death by a son, Donny.
