Allen Young, 57, of Stephenville, died Saturday, July 5, 2014 in Stephenville. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Monday, July 7th at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services for Allen will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 8th at Crane County Memorial Cemetery in Crane, Texas. Allen was born on July 24, 1956 in Abilene to the late Paul Arthur and Mary Frances Wilson Young. He worked in the oil and gas fields as a drilling foreman. Allen lived several years in Abilene before moving to Stephenville 30 years ago. Allen is survived by his longtime companion, Cathy Patton of Stephenville, half-brother Gerald Young, and two nieces, Ashley and Pepper
