Allen Wilton Taylor, Sr., 87 of Stephenville, died Thursday, April 9, 2020 in Stephenville.
Graveside services were held at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 13, 2020, at West End Cemetery Field of Honor, with Weldon Branham, officiating.
Allen was born on April 18, 1932, in Whittier, California, to the late Foy LeeRoy and Lillian Nelson Taylor. He served in the U. S. Navy, was a dairyman, member of the Baptist Church and has spent the past 30 years in Stephenville. Allen enjoyed attending the Stephenville Senior Citizens Center where he loved to square dance, line dance, and participate in yoga. He loved to garden, and listen to all genres of music. Allen never met a stranger.
Survivors include his sister, Barbara and husband Bob Jansen of Stephenville; sons, Steven and Kevin Taylor; one granddaughter, and two grandsons; nieces and nephews, Elaine Olson, Louise Rice, Andy Jansen, Amy Curtoys, Lisa Blackwell, and Matt Jansen; and several great nephews and nieces
Besides his parents, Allen was also preceded in death by sons, Allen and Ralph Taylor; brothers, Robert, Kenneth, and Stanley Taylor; and a sister, Linda Taylor.
