Alice Faye (Hunt) Morrison

Alice Faye Morrison, 85, of Stephenville, died at her home Thursday, September 9, 2021 in Stephenville.

A Private Family Graveside was held on Sunday, September 12th at Oak Dale Cemetery in Erath County, with Weldon Branham officiating.

Alice was born on September 16, 1935 in Mission, Texas to the late Sedley Marmaduke and Ollie May Miller Hunt.  She married Eston O. ‘Bob’ Morrison on February 14, 1958 in Corpus Christi, Texas.  Alice loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, traveling, and reading.  She worked several years as business manager for Harbin Motors, after she had obtained her Bachelor of Science in Business from Tarleton State University.

Alice is survived by her husband, Bob; sons, Geoffrey Thomas and wife Valerie Morrison of Frisco, Gregory Neil and wife Linda Morrison of Granbury, and Gary Wade and wife Beverly Morrison of Stephenville; grandchildren, Tiffany and husband Matt Misenhimer, Sydney Morrison, Rae Morrison, Lindsay and husband Clint Martin, Brady and wife Teal Morrison, Shelby and husband Michael Martin, and Cresenda Dawn and husband Davey Steele; great grandchildren, Kendall, Ashlynn, Tucker, Brynlee, Case, Ridge, Auburn, and Berkeley; sister, Mary Ashley of Seagoville, and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Alice was also preceded in death by a brother, James; and three sisters, Betty, Dolly, and Jenny.
