Alford Lee Dupriest

Alford Dupriest May 10, 1927-December 15, 2015 Alford Dupriest, 88, of Stephenville, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at his home in Stephenville. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Thomas Monroe and Bro. Pete Pharis officiating. Interment will follow at the Round Grove Cemetery in Erath County. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday at the Funeral Home. Alford was born on May 10, 1927 in Eastland County to the late John Thomas and Winnie Maude Lee Dupriest. He married the love of his life, Dora Lena Keith on August 9, 1947 in the Highland Community of Erath County. Alford worked for Mobile Chemical as a Process Operator for 31 years before his retirement. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Stephenville. Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Dora Dupriest of Stephenville; sons, Larry Dupriest and wife Gale of De Leon, and Fred Dupriest and wife Shirley of College Station; grandson, Daniel Dupriest of Portland, OR; granddaughter, Dana Rodriguez and husband Anthony of De Leon; great-grandchildren, Aiden, Micah, and Margaret Rodriguez. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Maude Dupriest; brothers, Glen Dupriest, and David Claude Dupriest; sisters, Fannie Scott, and Gladys Wright.
