Albert David Cotten

Albert David Cotten, 75, of Lingleville passed away Sunday, November 7, 2010 in Stephenville. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Gerald Freeman officiating. Interment will follow at the Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Bluff Dale. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Albert was born on January 10, 1935 in Rising Star, Texas to the late Willie and Lillie Beggs Cotten. He married Joyce Villines on April 22, 1974. Albert was an Area Superintendant for American Automatic Sprinkler and a co-owner of Cotten Brothers Backhoe. He has resided in Erath County for the past 35 years and was a member of the Congregational Methodist Church. Albert is survived by his wife, Joyce Cotten; Children, Sylvana Johnson, Edward Cotten, Beverly Morrison, Albert Jay Cotten, Jana McCollum, and Gary Thomas Davis; brother, Jay Cotten; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by 7 brothers and sisters.
