Agnes M. White

Agnes M. White, 97 of Huckabay, died Thursday, November 22, 2012 in Stephenville. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 PM Sunday at Huckabay Cemetery with Jimmy Holleman officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Services are under direction of Stephenville Funeral Home. Agnes was born on October 6, 1915 in Huckabay to the late Omar and Nellie Murray. She married Forbes L. White, June 3, 1934, in Stephenville. He preceded her in death on February 7, 1999. Agnes was a member of the Huckabay Church of Christ, and was a housewife, teacher, and sales clerk. Agnes is survived by her daughter, Donna Whitefield of Huckabay; granddaughters, Anita and husband Mark Carey of Huckabay, and Angelia Metsgar of California; great grandchildren, Monty and wife Courtney Carey, Marshall Carey, Megan Metsgar, and Dylan Metsgar. Besides her husband and parents, Agnes was also preceded in death by a brother, Dean Murray; and a sister, Alyne Helms
