AC Yardley, 70, of Stephenville, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2007 in Stephenville. Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, November 30, 2007 at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Erath County with Dr. Van Christian officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday at the Stephenville Funeral Home. AC was born on May 13, 1937 in Gorman, Texas to the late Doss and Opal Christian Yardley. He married Wilma Calder on March 9, 1961 in Galveston. AC was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the Harvey Baptist Church in Stephenville. He retired from Bell Helicopter and also worked as a Real Estate Broker and Farmer. He has resided in Stephenville for the past 9 years after living the previous 33 years in Fort Worth. AC is survived by his wife Wilma Yardley of Stephenville; sons, Alvis Yardley of Stephenville and Tony Yardley of Mabank; step-daughter, Ronna Campbell of Allen; sister, Barbara Newberry of Weatherford; grandchildren, Brandon Campbell, Braden Yardley, Bronte Yardley, and Chayton Yardley.
