A. D. "Mac" Mcclellan

A. D. ‘Mac' McClellan 85, of Stephenville, died Sunday, January 18, 2009 in Stephenville. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, January 22, 2009 at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Comanche County. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Mac was born March 24, 1923 in Gorman to the late Robert H. and Birdie Joiner McClellan. He married Wanda Faye Harding, November 2, 1946 in Midland. She preceded him in death July 13, 1978. He married Tabitha Parks, November 14, 1980 in Stephenville. Mac was a dairyman and worked many years with Exxon. He was a member of the Hillcrest Church of Christ, and served during WWII in the Army Air Corp. Mac lived many years in DeLeon, and has lived in Stephenville since 1980. He is survived by his wife, Tabitha; two daughters, Patricia Jane and husband Ronnie Holland of Desdemona, Sherry DeLayne and husband Dell Mellette of Pagosa Springs, Colorado; Step-son and wife, Randy and Cherry Parks of Lingleville; step-daughter and husband Teresa and Gary Dempsey of Lingleville; brother John McClellan of Midland; sister, Wanda Marie Jones of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Marlina Sepeda, Bradley Holland, Brandon Holland, Mackenzie Holland, Chance Mazurek, Corbin Mellette, Allan McClellan, Melanie Joslin; Katrina Brister, Sabrina Parks, Craig Parks, Michelle McArtor; and Kyle Dempsey; several great grandchildren He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Dale McClellan on January 16, 1999; and by a sister Oma Mae Hughes
