William Harold Tidwell, 65, of Star, Texas, passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2019 in Goldthwaite.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, August 31, 2019 at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at the West End Cemetery in Stephenville. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 am before the service.
William was born on December 9, 1953 in Albuquerque, NM to Harold Pynes Tidwell and Ada Blackwell Tidwell. He worked for many years as a ranch foreman on a pecan farm. William served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a Baptist.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Gloria Martin of Dublin; daughters, Tara Worley and husband Rodney of Burleson, and Carli Emerson and husband Marshall of Stephenville; step-daughter, Heather Caldwell and husband Jeremy of Stephenville; his mother, Ada Tidwell of Early; sisters, Nancy Whitely and husband Mike, and Jeana Fowler and husband Donald all of Early; grandchildren, Coleman Pynes Emerson, Ethan Keenan Emerson, Diana Worley, Savannah Worley, Rhianna Worley, Lydia Caldwell, and London Caldwell; Father and Mother-in-law, Augustus and Oma T. Martin; and many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Tidwell; and brothers, James and Richard Tidwell.
