Steven Wayne Ragsdale

Steven Wayne Ragsdale, 63, passed away at his home in Stephenville, Texas on Tuesday, February 16,2021 due to diabetes and heart issues.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:00 AM, February 22,2021 at Stephenville Funeral Home with Pastor Jimmy Holleman of Double N Cowboy Church officiating. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM at Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery in Corsicana, TX with Farland Clark officiating.

Steve was born November 19, 1957 in Corsicana, TX to Roy and Benja Ragsdale. He grew up in Corsicana and graduated from Corsicana High School in 1976. He graduated from Tarleton State University with a degree in Agricultural Business. Steve worked for many years in the farming, ranching, and dairy industries around the Stephenville area.

Steve was preceded in death by his mother, Benja Ragsdale. He is survived by his father Roy Ragsdale of Corsicana, son Justin Baxter and wife Krys of Brownwood, sister Elaine Barnes and husband Alan of Waxahachie, and brother David Ragsdale of Corsicana. He is also survived by his niece Shelby Davis and nephew Andrew Barnes as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as his three grandchildren.
